Proposé en collaboration avec le centre chorégraphique national de Caen en Normandie.Le festival prend pour la première fois ses quartiers au centre chorégraphique national de Caen en Normandie. Création scénographique en continu par le collectif Manoeuvre, ateliers de Tristan Ménez et de Ola Maciejewska, projection, concerts et performances en collaboration avec le Frac Normandie Caen, le collectif PAN et soirée de clôture de cette édition 2018, c’est un programme dense et passionnant que nous vous proposons.
Atelier > Bloom de Tristan Ménez
L’objet de cet atelier proposé par l’atelier modulaire de l’ésam Caen/Cherbourg est la fabrication d’un dispositif d’expérimentation intégrant la problématique de l’oeuvre Bloom présentée à Territoires Pionniers/Maison de l’architecture – Normandie (p. 14). Les participants devront créer une sculpture d’eau à l’aide d’un module vibreur et d’un stroboscope qu’ils auront assemblé et programmé : soudure de composants électroniques, découpe laser, assemblage/mécanique et programmation de base (Arduino et Max/MSP).
Afin de créer leur forme d’eau, les participants pourront intégrer leur pratique et leur créativité en utilisant des outils de fabrication à disposition.

The Big Workshop
A proposal in collaboration with the national center for dance in Caen, Normandy. The festival occupies for the first time the national dance center of Caen in Normandy. The creation of a set design in real time by the collective Manœuvre, workshops with Tristan Ménez and Ola Maciejewska, film screening, performances in affiliation with the regional contemporary art fund (Frac Normandie Caen) and the collective PAN will mark the final event to close the festival.
Bloom’s workshop
The aim of this seminar, proposed by the modular workshop of the Fine arts school of Caen/Cherbourg is an experimentation of the system developed by Tristan Ménez at the Territoires Pionniers/Maison de l’architecture – Normandie (p. 14). The participating audience will have to create a water sculpture with the help of a vibrating unit and a stroboscope that they will learn to assemble and program : sodoring electronic componants, laser cutting, mechanical assemblage and basic programming.
In an effort to create their vision of a water sculpture, the participants will integrate their practice and their creativity through the use of the art making tools made available for the occasion.
