avec le Frac Normandie CaenDes ventilateurs et microphones sont disposés en cercle. Certains micros sont montés sur des balanciers et vacillent. D’autres en parallèle enregistrent également les sons diffusés en direct, les vibrations, le souffle de l’air… Les machines se mettent en marche dans une lente et inexorable rotation. Le flux, l’air, le rythme forment une chorégraphie sans fin faite de tensions et de respirations. Ventilos met en scène le rapport du son, de l’objet et du mouvement.
Adrien Lefebvre module les ondes, que celles-ci soient naturelles ou artificielles. Dans le brouhaha des rues ou la solitude d’une forêt, l’artiste capture les grincements, chuintements, crissements, craquements, soufflements et sifflements que lui offre son environnement. Plasticien dans les arts sonores et musiciens au sein des groupes P_LAB et Unstable Lands. Il est également à l’initiative du micro label ADK7 (ambient, drones, field recording). Adrien Lefebvre vit et travaille en Normandie où il a fait ses études à l’école supérieure d’arts & médias de Caen/Cherbourg.
Ventilators and microphones are placed in a circle. Some microphones set up together and wobble. Meanwhile, some others are recording the ambient sounds, the vibrations and the blast of air. The machines start to rotate slowly. The flow, the air, the rhythm constitute a never-ending choreography of tension and breath. Ventilos sets the stage for the relationship between sound, object and movement.
Adrien Lefebvre modulates the natural and artificial sound waves. In the noisy streets or in the solitude of a forest, he captures the grinding and creaking and whistling noise offered by the environment. Sound artist and musician with the bands P_LAB and Unstable Lands, he has also initiated the label ADK7 (ambient, drones, field recordings). Adrien Lefebvre lives and works in Normandy where he studied at the Fine arts school of Caen/Cherbourg.
