Proposé en collaboration avec le centre chorégraphique national de Caen en Normandie.Le festival prend pour la première fois ses quartiers au centre chorégraphique national de Caen en Normandie. Création scénographique en continu par le collectif Manœuvre, ateliers de Tristan Ménez et de Ola Maciejewska, projection, concerts et performances en collaboration avec le Frac Normandie Caen, le collectif PAN et soirée de clôture de cette édition 2018, c’est un programme dense et passionnant que nous vous proposons.
Atelier > Danses Pogo avec Ola Maciejewska
Le pogo est une danse issue du mouvement punk. Elle consiste à sauter à pieds joints et à rebondir sur ses voisins à coups d’épaule. Les non-initiés n’y voient que gesticulations, mouvements désordonnés et même agressifs. Et pourtant, le pogo et ses variantes (circle pit, mosh pit) se pratiquent selon des règles bien précises.
Ola Maciejewska souhaite réveiller le Sid Vicious qui est en vous !
Cet atelier s’adresse aux débutants comme aux initiés, aucune pratique de danse préalable n’est nécessaire. Seules conditions : se jeter à corps perdus dans ces danses de l’instant et avoir une bonne condition physique.
Ola Maciejewska est artiste associée au centre chorégraphique national de Caen en Normandie 2016-2018.

The Big Workshop
A proposal in collaboration with the national center for dance in Caen, Normandy. The festival occupies for the first time the national dance center of Caen in Normandy. The creation of a set design in real time by the collective Manœuvre, workshops with Tristan Ménez and Ola Maciejewska, film screening, performances in affiliation with the regional contemporary art fund (Frac Normandie Caen) and the collective PAN will mark the final event to close the festival.
Pogo Dancing
Workshop with Ola Maciejewska – associated artist to the ccn de Caen en Normandie
The pogo is a dance issued from the punk movement. It can be described as jumping aggressively in order to bounce off one’s neighbors with colliding shoulders and limbs. For those on the outside it may appear as just irrational and aggressive flailing. All the same, pogo dancing and its variations (circle pit, mosh pit) have specific rules. Wake up your Sid Vicious with Ola Maciejewska !
This workshop is open to everyone, no need to know how to dance, one must only be in good physical condition and enjoy the immediate expression of the body.
