À l’instar de l’oiseau lyre qui chante la déforestation de son habitat naturel en imitant le bruit des tronçonneuses, Lydie Jean-Dit-Pannel et Gauthier Tassart tentent de réenchanter le monde, armés d’un set-up électro et de leur phonographie de chants d’oiseaux.
Depuis un mix atomique au Centre d’Art Faux Mouvement (Metz) réalisé en duo en 2016, Lydie Jean-Dit-Pannel et Gauthier Tassart ne cessent de développer des projets communs.
Lydie Jean-Dit-Pannel questionne l’image depuis plus de 25 ans au travers de projets au long cours. Aventurière solitaire, amoureuse blessée et guerrière survivante, Psyché s’est imposée comme l’alter-égo artistique de Lydie. Par le biais de cette héroïne antique pensive, dans le sillon de la figure du papillon Monarque dont l’artiste se pare le corps par un tatouage lors de chacun de ses voyages, Lydie déclame par ses œuvres sa déception face à une humanité qui court à sa perte. Elle parcourt le monde pour dresser le constat des blessures infligées à la Terre. Les pérégrinations de cette héroïne bafouée, qui réalise la synthèse de l’idéal romantique et de la désillusion punk, sensibilisent ainsi à la précarité d’un monde désormais en sursis.
Elle vit et travaille entre Dijon et Malakoff. Elle enseigne à l’Ecole Nationale Supérieure d’Art de Dijon.
Gauthier Tassart travaille le son et l’image, en référence permanente aux films, comics et morceaux punk rock qui hantent ses gestes et son attitude.
Il fait partie du groupe I Apologize avec Jean-Luc Verna. Depuis 2011, il dirige l’Orchestre Inharmonique de Nice (LOIN), un orchestre à géométrie variable composé d’étudiants de la Villa Arson ayant une pratique empirique de la musique basée sur des notions d’écoute collective. Des masterclasses y sont proposées avec des invités tels Lee Ranaldo, Etienne Jaumet ou Claire Gapenne. Il vit et travaille entre Malakoff et Nice où il enseigne à la Villa Arson.

Like the lyre bird, which sings about the deforestation of its natural habitat by imitating the sound of chainsaws, Lydie Jean-Dit-Pannel and Gauthier Tassart try to re-enchant the world, armed with an electro set-up and their phonography of bird songs.
Since an atomic mix at the Centre d’Art Faux Mouvement (Metz) created as a duo in 2016, Lydie Jean-Dit-Pannel and Gauthier Tassart have continued to develop joint projects.
Lydie Jean-Dit-Pannel has been questioning the image for more than 25 years through long-term projects. A lonely adventurer, wounded lover and surviving warrior, Psyche has established herself as Lydia’s artistic alter-ego. Through this thoughtful ancient heroine, in the wake of the figure of the Monarch butterfly whose body the artist adorns with a tattoo on each of his travels, Lydia declares through her works her disappointment in the face of a humanity that is running to its ruin. She travels the world to assess the wounds inflicted on the Earth. The peregrinations of this scorned heroine, who synthesizes the romantic ideal and punk disillusionment, thus raise awareness of the precariousness of a world now on probation.
She lives and works between Dijon and Malakoff. She teaches at the Ecole Nationale Supérieure d’Art de Dijon.
Gauthier Tassart works with sound and image, with a permanent reference to the films, comics and punk rock songs that haunt his gestures and attitude.
He is part of the group I Apologize with Jean-Luc Verna.
