Hybride, Floating Lens est une sculpture cinétique dont le mouvement inspire la vie, l’étonnement, le changement permanent de point de vue.
Un mouvement que l’artiste aime ralentir pour en révéler la fluidité, la souplesse, pour en révéler et en magnifier les interstices souvent inaperçus dans la course effrénée à la vitesse et à la performance. Par le choix du rythme, Vincent Leroy propose un changement dans la manière de voir et d’observer. Par un subtil mélange de poésie et de technologie, l’artiste joue avec les perceptions et propose un détachement de la réalité. Ondulations, reflets, superpositions, jeux de lumière et de transparences plongent le visiteur dans une autre dimension, légère et aérienne, onirique et contemplative.
Diplômé de l’ENSCI, Vincent Leroy a collaboré avec de nombreuses marques prestigieuses et architectes. Hybride, son travail oscille entre le réel et le virtuel, le naturel et l’artificiel, s’inspirant à la fois de la nature et du monde numérique. Le mouvement est presque toujours sa matière première. Il a notamment exposé aux États-Unis, en Chine, au Japon, en Europe et en France aux festivals Scopitone à Nantes et MAINTENANT à Rennes.
Floating Lens is a kinetic sculpture whose movement evokes life, awe, and the constant change of perspective.
The artist enjoys slowing down the movement to reveal its fluidity and grace, unveiling and amplifying the often unnoticed gaps in the relentless pursuit of speed and performance. Through the rhythm he chose, Vincent Leroy proposes a shift in the way we see and observe. With a subtle blend of poetry and technology, the artist plays with perceptions and offers a detachment from reality. Undulations, reflections, superpositions, and interplays of light and transparency immerse the visitor in another dimension—light and airy, dreamlike and contemplative.

A graduate of ENSCI, Vincent Leroy has worked with many prestigious brands and architects. His hybrid work oscillates between the real and the virtual, the natural and the artificial, drawing inspiration from both nature and the digital world. Movement is almost always his raw material. He has exhibited in the United States, China, Japan, Europe and France at the Scopitone festival in Nantes and the MAINTENANT festival in Rennes.
